ls1 radiator

hey guys, i'm trying to figure out what this one fitting is on my radiator. on the bottom drivers side there looks to be a heater hose nipple, but i do not understand why they would run a heater hose to the rad.

can someone help me out as to what it is?

I believe it is for the steam line on the from of the heads.

Steam line should be on pass side, I bet it is the power steering pump cooler return.....

1st of all, what did the radiator come out of ?.year, F-Body, Vette, CTS-V (assuming it is a LS1 engine)??

Just looked at my 2002 Z28 / A4 radiator.. It doesn't have anything on the bottom driver side.. no nipple.

Are you sure your radiator is not a replacement / aftermarket one.. sometime the replacement one will have extra fitting to cover everything and anything. just have to plug it.

But, let's look at a picture of yours first before we make any final say on it..
