Looking for ideas on what to use for intake and coil covers on my LS 69 Chevelle. I am using the truck intake but would like to see some engine pictures to see what others have come up with. I'll try to post some of mine so far.

if i could figure out how to post a pic i would show you mine, i cut the ribs and extra stuff off, sanded and painted. i think it looks good for a truck intake.

These are on a friend's 70 Chevelle. I think they look OK but we are looking for other ideas. I thought of cutting the extra ribs and junk off the intake. Thanks for posting the pic and link on that option. I really like it, now for coil covers?

 

There was someone on PT.net that had made coil covers out of old chevy script valve covers over the coil packs. Looked really good. Not sure how it did on heat dissipation though. Search over there for it.
