Truck DBW components
The TAC module has two connections, one for the pedal harness..other hooks into main engine harness there are two styles the 9-pin connector the later ones are 6-pin.

TAC modules have to match up to the year range of the PCM AND the throttle body.

03-06 TAC module works with 03-06 truck TB and 03-06 PCM (BLUE/GREEN connectors)

01-02 TAC module works with 01-02 truck TB, 97-04 Vette TB, and 01-02 PCM (BLUE/RED connectors).

03-06 TAC modules have an aluminum mounting base, 01-02 TAC modules are all black plastic including the mounting base.

The newer 07 up take a different pedal assembly.

This is some great info. If it is not it needs to be in FAQ

bumping an old thread. i have an 01 vette ecu im using for my drive by wire ls6 swap. i have a pedal and tac module unit from an 05 5.3L truck. im getting these codes p1120 p1220 p1221 p1515 p1516 p1518 and i have a feeling its pedal and tac module related. judging by the info posted above im going to say that theyre not interchangeable and i need a new set up but thought i would check. also running a nick williams 102 throttle body with the racetronix adapter harness.

What does nick Williams say? I'm pretty sure you have to use the vette tac module and pedal with those.

i didnt contact them as i figured itd be a better question for the guys who made my harness but theyre kind of iffy on it aswell. basing it off what i can find the 05 truck pedal and tac use a 3 sensor set up as to the 97-04 vettes use a 2 sensor and i have an 01 vette ecu. so im going to overnight a pedal and tac from a vette tomorrow and put that in and see if it solves it. im praying otherwise im out 500 for the pair XD

Keep in mind that the harness between the Truck TAC and Pedal is Different from the Vette TAC and Pedal. Good Luck.

Vette pedal will work if it is configured for it.

Pretty much any 6 pin one will work as long as its pinned right for that peda.l I would have to look to see if they are all pinned similarly to the GMT900 trucks.

So most the 07-up GM 6 pin plug pedals will work pretty much out of most cars and SUV's.

Lokar makes one that will work as well. But I think its only is the pedal and you have to provide the sensor then remove the plastic pedal and install their metal one on the stock sensor.

I have a pedal from a 2007 Pontiac G6 that I would like to use. And you are right the NNBS truck is 6 pin and G6 pedal is 6 pin , but they are different sensors. Can the G6 be repinned to work with truck ecm .

Just look at the pinouts and see if they can simply be swapped.

Sorry to revive an old thread but I've looked and can't find the info.

The 97-03 Corvette PCM connectors are (BLUE/RED) and the 04 Corvette PCM plugs are (BLUE/GREEN). Should the 04 Vette TB be with the 03-06 TAC since the PCM has BLUE/GREEN connectors? The reason I ask is I have a engine harness and PCM from an 04 Vette and the connectors are BLUE/GREEN. Thanks.
