So I didn't get as much done this weekend as I had hoped. This is mostly because my header modification turned out to be a dud. I could only clearance one header and it wasn't enough. I didn't get any pictures though. I'm going to have to trailer it to a shop for some custom 1 7/8" headers. Which is ok, since I will need exhaust work done because I want to mid-mount my mufflers anyway.
I mocked the water pump in place to check clearance on the throttle body and there doesn't appear to be any problem with the L92 water pump and throttle body with the LS3 intake:
The header issue lit a fire under my *** to get things mounted permanently so I can take it to a exhaust shop ASAP. I pulled the powertrain and installed the LS6 clutch:
and mounted the GTO shifter:
Next I started installing the PSI harness:
I decided to mount the ECM and fuse relay center behind the iPad, where my radio used to be:

That fuse block is the supplied block from the PSI harness. Note: Neither the ECM of fuse block is permamently mounted in that pic, haha. I should have the car back from the exhaust shop by early next week...and hope to have it running by the end of the month! Pics will follow as soon as there are updates...
So progress is a little slower than I'd like, but you can't rush perfection I s'pose. Here's the latest pics. The longtubes and mid-mounted muffler setup should be complete by next week.

I just found out that the driveshaft from an SN95 Mustang is almost an exact fit. I just need conversion u-joints for the T56 yoke up front and an SN95 rear pinion flange. Yet another instance where it looks as if this car was made for this powertrain!
First Start-Up:
The reason it's not running is that the header tubing has been on backorder for 3 weeks. Good news, though, it that it shipped yesterday! It's about 2 1/2 day job to finish up the headers and exhaust work, so I'm hoping to have the car back by next Friday or Saturday. A video will surely follow...

Made some progress today:
I got the radiator, condenser, and fan mounted and got the cooling system sorted out:

UPDATE:
Yesterday: Got the exhaust finished up and managed to get it started for a few seconds before it died:

It doesn't have a nasty cam, it's just running too rich and idling too low.
We couldn't figure out what was wrong, but managed to track it down to being fuel related.
Today: Found out that I was having WAY too much fuel pressure...due to overlooking the fact that the Ford pump is PWM. The LS3 PCM was commanding the Ford pump to full voltage and, thus, producing WAY too much fuel pressure. That was fixed with a C5 fuel filter w/regulator. I just ran a return line from the filter to the hat on the tank. I've gotta get a double male quick-connect for the feed line tomorrow, then she should be ready to go!

I'd like to shout-out to Jim from JimTune! He called me out of the blue after reading the issues we were having with getting it running and he made a few suggestions. Well, thanks Jim! The 'Vette fuel filter/regulator fixed the issue and.......IT LIVES!!!!!!
