Default 98-2003 Camaro Brakes on a 68 Camaro

What would it take to convert a 68 Camaro w/ 4 wheel drums to a front disc setup using 98-03 brakes? what parts would i need? master cylinder? lines? booster? and from what car?

all you really need is the calipers and rotors ..and some minor machining on the drum spindles and drum hubs ....booster/mc optional....if you have staggered shocks then you will need 2 rear right calipers and back plates...or lefts i forgot lol ....sorry ....ummmm and thats about it wheel fitting may be a problem depending on your wheels

i only plan on doing the fronts. what kind of machining do you mean?

If interested I have the bulk of the parts needed for the swap that I am selling. Included would be the spindles and hubs (machine work already done), rotors and calipers from a 01' Z28 and caliper brackets. Rotors and calipers have approx. 25k miles on them. $225 plus shipping.

i`ve done the swap but dont know how to post pictures here ....can someone show me how ? thanks....i have 2001 ls1 brakes on the front and 97 on the back ...im also using the 2001 booster and master cylinder and the abs controller

How did you get the abs reluctors on the front? Rear would be easy, but the 93 up f bods use the integral hub/wheel sensors.

There is nothing wrong with using parts off of other cars. Nice car, well done.

I would like to see a picture of how you set up the relutor and sensor for the front brakes.
