Yeah. I talked with one of the Rep's at the last Good Guys. they have stopped production of Headers and Exhaust kits.. wasn't making enough... Too bad.

I've got Edebrock's for both of my conversion... they fit really well.

I know Dynatech now makes an affordable conversion set, but from the pics I have seen they hang to low for my comfort.....But may have been the engine mount kit that person used. I have dyntech stepped headers on mine that where beaten into place Had a set left from my 98 Trans Am no one wanted to buy so I used them....worked but they had to be punished into place

I agree on the Dynatechs. Too low. I plan on trying to use BBC 1 7/8" headers w/LS1 flanges. Hopefully in about a month I should find time.

A friend of mine just got a 72 off of this site and the guy said he used pacesetters for a 4th gen. He had to heat them up and bend them slightly though

Hey 95GreenZ28, yes pacesetters for the fourth gen work great! Passenger side is no problem, driver side you do have to massage a little bit. If you have any fab skills it'll be no problem for you. I have a set on my 1970 RS... I believe this to be the proper part number, Pacesetters Long Tube headers Part #70-2256.....
Hope that helped......

Click Here and search through Mark's build, he has a very detailed walkthrough on how to make the pacesetters work. I didn't want to mess with that so I bought the dynatech headers but haven't gotten that far on my build yet.

EDIT: Read posts 119 & 131
