Unsprung L92 phaser locked to 15deg retarded timing
Degreeing L92 phaser and L99 phaser used for PTV clearance checks
Base Cam timing of 7degrees Advanced:
Intake: 0.295
Exhaust: 0.260
Cam timing fully retarded to limiter block (22deg ) of 15degrees Retarded:
Intake: 0.335
Exhaust: 0.195
I usually use the dial-indicator to check PTV, but I don't have an LS1 valve spring tool yet, so modeling clay it is.. (I verified quench and radial valve clearance this way previously too)
L99 limited phaser, new tensioner, and dot-to-to installed for final assembly
Melling Select 10296 pump w/Blue low-pressure spring installed. Phaser valve/bolt TQ'd to 48lb-ft + 90deg
LS3 vette windage tray and pickup tube installed. Red Locktite everywhere.
Rear cover loosely installed with new seal and new dumbbell already in oil galley.
Front cover loosely installed with new seal and front oil galley already tapped and plugged with a pipe plug.
Money shot. Heads just resting on block awaiting alignment dowels and measured (7.350) pushrods to arrive.
Another Money shot. Valley cover, intake, valve covers set on motor to keep out the dust..

I noticed on your crankshaft where the harmonic balancer goes there is a keyway. Is this something new? Mine L92 does not have the keyway.
It appears that you have the LS3 intake manifold. Are you running the L92 throttle body? Thanks for posting the pictures.

Thanks, I was just wondering. I am following in your footsteps with the L92 build. I am also installing the LS3 intake. I saw on Ebay an LS3 throttle body for $142 shipped. Just thinking about it. I would like to get between 450 and 475rwhp as TSP gets on the 2010+ Camaros with the 6L80.

Solid motor mounts. The stock C4-LT1 rubber mounts sagged and caused clearance issues with the oil pan, accessory belt, and damper.
Custom 3.5" Denny's Driveshaft. TH400 slip-yoke to mate with hybrid SSR T56 32-spline output, 1350 u-joints, and new Dana44 1350 pinion yoke. (C4 C-beam clearancing required)
2003 Impala underhood fusebox, modified for L92 engine harness circuits. Engine harness connections extended from the firewall area, to area in front of wheel.
Block/Chassis/Harness Grounds connected and Drivers Side header installed.

Been busy wiring for weeks, not much in the way of pictures. Starting to wrap the harnesses back up and move on to the last tasks before first-fire.
I have the OBD2 port wired in and have been reading/testing sensors and relays as going along. I'm just wrapping up the 3-relay cooling fan re-wiring and finally grabbed the latest HPTuners beta to let me read the T56 VSS correctly.
Hopefully I can get this thing fired up and into the Exhaust shop for the finishing touches.

Organized Chaos
OBD2 and OBD1 ports
DBW / APP pedal
First time ever the vette has had electrical power since I've owned it.
LT1 ECM mounted in factory location, E38 L99 ECM temporarily resting on top of battery.
HPTuners screenshot. Most DTCs will be tuned out, MAP/DBW-TB/Intake not on. I did have to swap 2 wires (D & F) on the APP to use the C6/EROD pedal with the E38.
