going to the dark side *engine is in*
The L76 gaskets I mentioned earlier are the same as LS3/L92 gaskets (#12610046). The LS2 gaskets # 12589227 are the ones I was thinking of. From what I've read on here....either are .051" thick compressed, but the LS2's are smaller in diameter since they were made for the 4" bore. I THINK they are 4.020" and the LS3/L92/L76 are 4.080", but I could be wrong so please research that.

The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
They said bow season..didnt say how big the bow had to be..
back on topic: i got the k member blasted today and gonna get it primed tomorrow while i blast the rest of the engine bay thats almost done. then i will scuff it all and shoot it with paint. then do the suspension parts the same and start putting it back together.

Doubt I'll ever even pull one tire in my SS. I don't really want to take it that far. The 61 can tote them for a few feet.
emailed tsp today about the cam and will be ordering it in a day or 2.
overall i didnt get much done. but enough i think i can put the k member in tomorrow or the next day (think im gonna go hunting tomorrow)
