I'm planning on doing the "flycut for free" mod using a couple spare valves and stick on sand paper. There is a thread on here about it. I already bought drill stops for a few bucks at Harbor Freight. IF I turn out to have plenty of room, I'm considering running 1.8:1 exhaust rockers to help out the weaker exhaust ports of the L92's. Haven't checked into mixing aftermarket & stock rockers on LSx motors though.
Wouldn't an LS7 exhaust rocker work (I'm pretty sure they are 1.8)?

I have thought about that, but never heard of anyone doing it.

Nothing "local" around here... There is a f body salvage yard in wichita somewhere but Idk where its at. I bought one for $50 and it never showed up and the guy vanished.

In a couple weeks I'm putting another order into scoggins, for my valve springs and pushrods. Just hope i can check the length with the stock springs

Are you changing the locks and retainers?

Why wouldn't you be able to check the length with the stock springs?

youre talking about Koons, its right next to newman univ, easiest way is take west street south of kellogg and go east on the first street that goes by that uhaul place. Warning they are total douches there though.

Glad to see the car coming along, last i heard about the car you were buying lt1 parts from me haha.

Why not pick up some LS2/LQ9 rods/pistons instead of milling?
