Snug down the head with a few of the old bolts and no gasket, measure PTV, then add the compressed thickness of the gasket to your measurement.

Digging your build. Keep your head down. Watching the storm develop from a little ways south of you.

Yeah it got pretty intense there for awhile... Tin flying through the air, tree across our road, etc... Golfball size hail...

Well... I got the valve seals but they don't have the spring seats on them... So looks like I have to buy those as well! Or send the seals back and get the ones with the spring pads on them

Going to get some simple green and clean the **** out of the inside and take the carpet to the carwash, if that doesnt work then i will replace it. $300 for carpet is kinda high. Considering i installed carpet in my sons bedroom last weekend and it was $175 for it.

I'm going from LT1 6speed to a LS auto also. What are your plans for the shifter and shifter wiring? I cant seem to find specifics on the shifter wiring.

^^Install the F-body Shifter and wire it in, not really that hard to convert to Electronic Auto.
