I just paid for some old used pacesetters I can use if/when I get around to a swap. They should be here in a couple days.
I have a big request. Will you please post some pics of oil pan clearance after you get it all bolted in? Maybe some pics from the top while the engine is bolted to the k-member, but before it's bolted in the car showing clearance from the pan to stuff too? I've been looking at the specs of the CTS-V oil pan and wondering if I can use it instead of an F-body one. I know it's about 3/4" deeper (but only at the very rear...the F-body one looks almost as deep around the drain plug) so a pic showing how the bottom sits in relation to the bottom of the k-member would be awesome too.
Also, what did we ever figure out about your A4 pedals and console top? Did you find something? Exactly which console top are you needing again.
Thanks, Jason

I will get you pics Jason, I got the flexplate in today all the rest will be here Thursday. So Saturday is the big day! But I think I'm gonna go in from the top so I don't risk dropping the car off the stands ( no rearend in it) as for pedals I cut the clutch pedal off and drilled the bolt to be a spacer and put a bolt in its place. Nothing yet on the console top so until I find an a4 top for the lt1 style I'm gonna use the 6 speed top.

Good news guys, post office called and said my package was there which means I got a bunch of parts there to put on and the engine is almost done. Bad news is I don't wanna put it in yet till I have it ready to start up. Which means I need my harness back, pushrods, and fuel regulator.
Should I go ahead and put it in? I've got everything else.

In case the other console offer falls through: the only 93-96 style A4 top I have is from a camaro.....different from the TA one according to my GM parts lookup, but I'm not sure how much different it is.
I think if I were you I would go ahead and install your engine once you get this round of parts in since everything you listed as waiting on is easily installed after it's in.
