there are enough guys doing this swap, maybe we can start a sticky here going lt1-lsx. I know there is a sticky on the conversion forum, i'm thinking more specific to lt1 only. I've done a lot of research, merv has done a lot of conversion, matt, hitman, others too, there is enough collective knowledge that we can contribute back to the community

Good knowledge kind sir, I thought the intent of the front mount cam sensor was for the 58X. Learned something new.

Man that's a good idea..below is one of my best threads with a ton of info, it never made sticky because I think it'll **** off alot of the sponsors..
But in this LT1 section there should be a LTX -> LSX Sticky with info.

I didn't think about the different design block, do LS2s have the same support ribs in the lifter valley like aluminum BBCs?

yeah i will settle for this one, he sells them for under $600 for the shortblock... im not a fan of the lower compression ratio but its a start and maybe sometime i can pick up another lq4 to build up... im having a hard time finding a k member for less than a tubular one... which leads me back to why cant i use the lt1 i have with the ls1 pedestals?
