(By the way I reserve exclusive video on that event....)

OP his work of art runs a pretty penny, but he did his research and he's got a good combo coming together. He pointed me in the right direction on alot of my parts.

mod list for it is a cam, ms3? timing set, ls3 heads (eventually but for now my stock 98 ls1 heads), ls6 intake, 90 tb, and bolt ons.
Cam - Call Geoff at EPS
Timing set - LS2 chain
LS3 heads will need - LS3 intake, Rockers, pedestals, head gaskets, intake etc pretty easy to piece together a little at a time
90tb - Nick Williams is nice
Bolt ons - go ahead and get 1 7/8 headers they will be a nice gain with the LS3 heads eventually.... keep stock rockers.... Underdrive pulley and call it a day... EWP if you don't mind spending 600 for 5-10 hp

Like Matt said.

Call up your local junkyard for an iron 6.0.

Both mine and Matt's motors are 364 casting number blocks. Same with Merv.

GTO 6.0 LS2 Gen IV 58X, 243 heads (iirc), different front cover for front mount cam position sensor, different timing set, floating pins, same compression as an LQ9.

LQ4 Gen III 24X, has dished pistons, 317 heads.

GTO also came with a 5.7 LS1 just like the f-bodies.

LS2s are in:
Corvette
GTO
Trailblazer SS
Saab 9-7x Aero

LS2 is an Aluminum Block..Knock Sensors are on the side of the Block.

Also they are a 24x Reluctor, except for the Vette in 2006.

Yes centerbolt.... Buy a ls1 car harness and send it to Merv and he can make it plug and play for you along with A/C...... you can find ls1 k members pretty cheap in the classifieds on here... Especially from guys that went tubular....

Thanks I put a ton of work into it so it would be nice...

As for power....6.0 cam only and bolt on 400+ to the back tires through a m6

6.0 with ls3 heads and custom cam with all the bolt ons 475+ through a m6.....figure ls3 motors are making over 500 to the wheels cam and bolt ons only....
