Radiator overflow tank is on the left and Power Steering/ Hydro Boost on the Right.........I would say it's about a quart or so..........But........Just for what it's worth, if anyone does the Hydro Boost upgrade...........Originally I had a modified reservoir with a added return line from the hydro boost.......I had a slight issue when turning where I would loose the power assist for a 1/2 second or so.......no big deal but annoying (just not right).....I did some checking and found out the was air in the system.......ended up being the flow pattern of the oil being returned to the tank causing slight aeration.....I found out that Concept One makes a reservoir that controls the flow patterns of the oil to eliminate those issues (the tank on the right)......It's perfect now !!!

Thanks for the pics. Do you recall the brand of overflow tank? I love the sound. Nice and quiet!

Thanks,

I had the exhaust dumping out just after the rear tires (headers, X pipe, and Magnaflow XL mufflers) but the drone was HORRIBLE. At certain RPMs it would drown out the radio and good luck trying to talk to anyone in the passenger seat. My solution (that I am still working on) is to extend the exhaust to the bumper, and I am also adding 2 Vibrant 1792 resonators right before the tips to lower the volume a bit and help with the rasp. I will report back on how it works out.
I wanted to report back on my exhaust mods in case anyone following along is wondering how it turned out. From the outside, the car is quieter, but still a little loud for my taste. Inside the car there's a HUGE improvement. Still a tiny bit of drone under significant acceleration, but the volume inside is MUCH lower. ALL the rasp/coughing sounds are completely eliminated, and everything feels silky smooth now instead of feeling like I am riding around in a racecar. I am likely still going to swap out my Magnaflows for the Dynomax Super Turbos as Ken suggested, but for now I am pretty happy.

For anyone interested, I used Vibrant 1792 resonators (2) near the end of the exhaust. I also extended the exhaust to the bumper instead of dumping after the rear wheels.

The Evolution continues.......When the car was finished 5 years ago, I installed the Dakota Digital Instrument cluster available at the time......As with everything, product development moves on....Since then they have developed and improved their product.........they also came out with a module that plugs into the OBD plug and feeds all the info to the cluster from the ECM directly.......Pretty neat stuff......Here are the latest changes.......

Hi Ken. A have a couple questions for you if you don't mind.

1) I see in a later post that these eBay headers fit well. Did you have any clearance issues with the steering box?

2) You appear to be running an aftermarket steering box (CPP). Is is the same physical size as the stock box?

3) From what you can remember about these headers, did the left and right headers seem identically mirrored?

The reason for the last question is, I am dealing with exhaust manifold issues right now. With my car being right-hand drive, it adds an extra set of problems. With the primary market obviously being the US and left-hand drive vehicles, all aftermarket headers seem to make the left header with steering clearance in mind, whilst the right header, having enough room for a party of 5, tends to have had less attention to fitment issues.

Some companies make a header set that look similar on both sides, but still differ slightly enough that the right header won't clear my box.

I bought the Hooker LS swap cast iron manifolds thinking that would be the case. Unfortunately, it was was not.

Any help you can add would be gratefully appreciated.

PS: I got the LS installed yesterday using your adapter plates. Perfect fit. Thank you.

Grind the side of the box a bit, I had the same issue. I have about 1/16-1/4 inch space now.
