just measured it. exactly 3" clearance. looks like ill have to be careful wherever i drive

this is totally my next project. a chevy luv that was in the local car show this past weekend. only $7K with a sbc 350 and nitrous, no rust and interior/paint was mint. once i sell/trade my truck in a few years or so you can expect a twin turbo lq4 build with one of these luvs!!!!

All of the LS series engines come with aluminum heads. Yes the 5.3 is a great engine to boost

Some of the early 6.0's had iron heads, but only them. All other LS engines have aluminum heads.

T76S10, nice work man!!! Should be fun as hell!!

I was also wondering if the baby is yours?

I think I read it was a LS1 intake.

T76S10, you are doing awesome man. I know what it's like working on a budget. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see this thing done.

Thanks a lot guys! Honestly, the intake swap is a lot of headaches if you switch with truck accessories. It requires a lot of cutting and relocation brackets and stuff to make it work. If I were to do it over again, GO WITH F BODY ACCESSORIES!!! it allows more front end clearance and overall works out a lot nicer than truck accessories. As for the 700r4, all you need are 6 longer bolts and a crankshaft spacer. Get them from jegs for like $60 bucks. As moter said look at all the stickies. You'll learn more than you ever imagined. I wish I owned that luv lol. But ill most likely build one in a few years and it will be a lot faster than my s10.

been doing some electrical and intercooler piping lately. cant finish the coldside because i need 3 more 45's to finish it off.

the stock guage panel was really hard to figure out because it was all electrical and it used pins instead of actual wires so i tossed that idea and made my own out of some 22guage sheet metal
