well what was i gonna do with the fuel supply.. been rackin my brain for days.. i didnt want a fuel cell in trunk like i did before.. i wanted to oringinal tank back in the car.. more trunk space.. etc.. so i came up with a redneck solution.. I do a lot of a/c for houses.. so i choped up a r-22/freon can in half..And going to cut/weld in a 1/2 inch coupling in the can.. it'll work for a fuel sump.. dont kno how low its gona hang .. and for the top im using a cap, incase i have to add another 255 walbro in there ..or change out old one. i used some shet metal of old air handler..i scraped awhile ago...i had to have a flat surface to mount the cap..i can still use the original sending unit.. im debating on making a removable trap door above the freeon tank.. i could easily remove two bolts , from access where cap is ..to work on adding/removing fuel pumps..

Im waiting on motor to get back from machine shop,,had them install new cam bearings.. i went to install the ls3 cam.. it had a lil nip on the cam. didnt see it.. installed cam..tight as hell.. wouldnt spin over.. pull it back out.. i felt it cut into bearings.. and saw metal shaving.. did not run motor. .. . pulled motor out..apart and having them install the bearings..i'll assemble it soon as it gets back.. and having them polish the cam ...

I used an external fuel pump... I'd go that route before doing the home made sump
I started with a Walbro 255 but after a couple of those failing I have changed to a Bosch 044

yes i made very sure i could get to the plugs easily... i had to chnge them out one time on the dyno toowith my old turbo 5.3 setup.. pain in a$$.. this time there very easy to get too.. i dont think im goin to paint the freon tank. ..like to get reactions from when they see it.. ..i havnt had any problems with a walbro intank.. had them before they ran great.. .i bought a 3/8 threaded steel tube.. cutting/welding it in freon tank. ...i will be happy to turbo your caddy..seen one run on the dyno/youtube made low 600's to the wheels..stock.with upgraded fuel system..it was a 2010 model..

Please take that crap off and do it right. Here is a nice overflow tank kit that may work:

There are a lot of other tanks out there.
