Turbo ly6, 70' Chevelle....Pics... now ly5 5.3, 20lbs
Ok so im at it again. .im def not no pro welder as you can tell.. haha.. but it'll work..
Specs
70 chevelle,
stock factory ly6, l92 heads
bigger valve springs,
ls3 cam
ls3 intake,
60lbs injectors,
single walbro 255 for now,
Magnum 76mm turbo .96 t4
I plan on running 10lbs or so.. prob more
04' 4l80e with manual valve body
stock stall
3.23 posi
using a 99' ecm & harness to control this with the lingfelter convertor box.
The girlfriend with new parts..

i still need to buy the injectors..and finishing the wiring.. .,car ran great with bigger cam and carb setup, same ly6 motor... sure it will run even better now.. Funds are holding me back to finshing this right now.. hopefully it will be done before turkey rod run in daytona..As i only live 45 mins away from there.. I'l keep it updated,with pics dyno number,and some video when drivning.. thanks for looking.. And please go easy with welding jokes. ..haha. Just a begginer..

haha.. yes the gf is awesome and very supportive of my addiction,,. but yes jimbo once youve been boosted you;ll never want to be n/a again.. i loved the turbo 5.3 i had in this chevelle...now ive just upgraded to bigger and better things.. For the welds..im gona leak test them and possible wrap them later...

im running stock manifolds from 08' truck on the driverside.. routing it between the trans and motor,,coming back up thru feeding into the passengerside... i doubt anytoplesss pics.. haha and i have fixed the cotrol arms.. I installed them correctly,,the anti hop bars.. the shaking should stop.. cant tell untill this gets up rolling again.. yes im going back to efi.. i sold all the carb stuff.. it ran prety good n/a..

as a welder i would be worried about using a mig welder on the hot side plumbing. mig has a tendancy to fail more often than tig when you have a decent amount of pressure on the welds. but it looks good man good luck with the build!

For those wondering about the driver side.. gona put v-clamp or something similar where it is cut. for easier install, and take out.. Possible thinking of those flex exhaust hose's.
