1957 Eldorado Brougham
I've obsessed over this car for as long as I can remember and finally found one earlier this year.
I'll post up pics as progress is made but as of right now a lot of it is open ended. It is currently at the Roadster Shop getting a complete custom chassis.
They are building the chassis to use separate air bags/shocks. Probably going to use an Accuair leveling system.
I am still undecided on the engine. A few prospects are-
-4.4L supercharged STS-V Northstar.
-500ci LS with dual 4bbl throttle bodies and fabricated batwing air cleaner (a modernized tribute to the original)
-CTS-V LSA
-? Still trying to find out who fabbed up the V12 LS as I think that would be really neat in this car.

Very cool!! big fan of anything Classic Cadillac. The supercharged Northstar would be pretty badass indeed. I think with the right exhaust, its an awesome sounding powerplant. We see little issues withe the 4.4 liter, however, the 4.6 has half block issues,..at some point in its lifetime. Great motor, unique, works well,..just not an LSA.
I think the LSA,..you know probably better then I do the capability of the engine, even stock. The parts availability from factory, and aftermarket are endless. Northstar stuff, not so much unless your doing stuff yourself. If anyone could do it, surely you could but, my vote would go for the LSA swap.
Will be following this fo sure

Nice project! Good luck either way you decide.

Thanks guys.
LSA seems to have the popular vote. No fabbing a turbo system or air cleaner, just drop it in?
You're making it too easy for me!

Theres no such thing as too easy. I`m fabbing the hotside of a turbo system right now for my monte carlo........I spent the last 2 days building exhaust manifolds because none of the factory ones fit. I would be up for something being a drop in or bolt on right about now.
