Default hydraulic clutch actuation

I tried for 3 months to use the cable operated system with no luck, ended up buying parts and pieces from Kiesler and made a bracket to mount the master to a Turbo coupe pedal box works real well. If I was going to do it again I'd go with the McLeod system, even though its expensive as hell, you get to keep your stock cable operated pedal box and there is absoutely no fabrication, wish it was avaliable when I did mine!

Im running turbo coupe pedals, with a mcleod clutch master. I had to make a mounting bracket for the master but that was the extent of the modifications to make it work perfectly.

(Resurrecting old thread)

Has anyone used this Mcleod hydraulic conversion kit for Fox body stangs?

Could this be used in an LSX/t56 fox swap?

Default mcleod setup

I really dont see why not, T56's and TKO's are pretty much the same up front where the TO bearing mounts.

I assume you're referring to the complete McLeod hydraulic conversion system? (http://www.mcleodracing.com/info/?id=5317)

#1 In the above case, you would use the STOCK fox body 5-speed pedal assembly, right?

AND

#2 In the case of using the McLeod master cylinder alone (http://www.jegs.com/i/McLeod/673/139301/10002/-1), you would use the Turbo coupe 5-speed pedal assembly, right?

I have $350 in my setup...willwood master, T-Bird turbo coupe pedals, McLeod quick disconnect line to connect to slave...fabbed bracket to hold the master and done. It's pretty easy considering...and I'm a moron.

Oops, sorry I forgot to come back and check this thread

Google Wilwood remote master cylinder...I used the one that had similar bore/stroke as the factory f-body one...it's been several years but I think it was this one: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WIL-260-3374/
I ended up having a buddy fab a neat aluminum remote reservoir instead of the cheap plastic eyesore they include in the kit.
