LS1 BU - what year of Malibu do you have? I'm currently looking at getting a 70 Chevelle and want to install an LS1 in it but was wondering if it would be that difficult.

The car only went 100mph on that 128.77mph pass. If I remember correctly, I was still on the stock clutch and it was slipping a touch at the end of the track.
I've been 102mph on a hot day at our local 1/8th. The car usually picks up 30mph on the big end. I'm about to change a couple things so hopefully it'll fun a bit faster.
I'm in the process of making the car nhra legal. Last time I had it at the 1/4 mile track, I ripped off an 11 sec pass on motor and got a warning. I turned the bottle on for the next pass. They were pissed and told me to take it home.
All my mods are listed in my sig.

No doubt. I thought that someone said the 9.8 has happened. Well I saw the video of the 10.4 so that is what I will believe.
How much do you think your JBA shorties are helping with the cam? I REALLY want to do a H/C install with a 231/237 and the PP Stg II's but I dont want a MAJOR restriction at the headers. I am getting tired of waiting for the Hinson LT's.
