Dont come into someone thread at 1030 at night asking them to call someone. i wouldve. Like i said, i did email them.

Thanks for the responses guys.

They confirmed as well. They wrote me back this morning.

My 1999 is on its way here right now. Guy is delivering it. Straight body, blown motor, v6 car. Once i get some good progress under way, ill be making a thread, maybe ill actually get to keep this car and finish this build. RX7 went away last night, for those that were following that slow build. guy came and picked it up. But new car will be here within the hour...

Haha, yea I know what you mean. I used factory struts and Eibach pro kit springs to lower it 2". All you need are the spring perches from AJE.
Don't forget about sub frame connectors, you're gonna need them! Mine also was a V6 car and I put in UMI full length SFC's and welded up the torque boxes. I assume you plan on replacing the 7.5" rear?

SFC's, i wasnt aware that i would need them, thanks for the heads up man, i appreciate it. lol

Most def dont plan on re-using the 7.5 rear. Ive been keeping my eyes open for a used 8.8 factory or already built, on ebay, bullet, racing junk, etc. Sucks, 2 months ago, when i was working on the RX7 i could find 8.8 rear ends like they were going out of style, funny, the moment i need to find one, i can't. lol.

I dont know a whole lot about the mustang as of yet, ive been reading alot and learning what i can where i can, lol. Ive got a long way to go.

Got the car in yesterday, it was complete car. by 11pm last night, the doors were out, front end torn down and motor removed. lol. Now the waiting game starts. waiting on parts.

Do you have any build pics of your setup?

I do have some build pics that I need to upload, nothing fancy I definitely built it on a budget. Car is extremely fun to drive! I would also suggest some decent lower rear control arms to avoid wheel hop. I picked up a set of Roush's off ebay cheap.

Got another question for you guys. Since both the New edge and the fox users have responded. Maybe you can answer 2 more questions for me.

Ill ask the second one if this one is a yes.

On AJE's website, they list the Kmember for 79-04 "universal". Since i have not purchased one, and found one local to me, More local then AJE, lol, they are about an hour away.

Anyway, are they really all the same? The one the lister is selling is the universal part number, and out of a fox body. I know it says its universal, and is listed for 79-04, and this is probably about the dumbest question, but they are exactly the same? I didnt know if maybe you had to specify year when ordering through AJE. I know thats ignorant. I just couldnt help but think their is differences between the years...

I know since mid 07 they fit both cars. Possibly before that. The diff is where it bolts in down by the rear most subframe. They are diff but AJE works with either.

I ordered mine directly from AJE, they never asked what year car it was going into. Mine is a 95 and it fit, not perfect, but the car has 120K on it and isn't perfect. I don't think ford changed the front end geometry for 25 years, thats gotta be some sort of record.

I ordered just the k-member but when I got it I just didn't have the heart to bolt my ugly control arms too it. Within an hour of getting them k-member the control arms were on order.

I have to admit, the more i think about this, the more i think you may be right, lol.

Plus, their has got to be some weight savings, right?

Im thinking i might just order the kit he offers with the coilovers, k member, a arms, mounts and trans mount. Just knock it all out at once. he's 1.5 hours south of me, i might just drive down their today.
