Thanks.
I really enjoy this car for DD so far. I plan on twin turbo later on, I want another car for daily use when I do tho. Lol

Here's the PDF of the dyno run. Pulls were done in 3rd, ambient temps were 65*
Right at what I expected, I'm happy with it. Car is much smoother, and the guy had nothing but good things to say about the swap... seeing the cars he had in his shop, that means a lot.

Strong! If I'm reading and surmising correctly, that looks to be equivalent to 440-450 rwhp on a dynojet, corrected to SAE. Through an auto and IRS...you are seriously gonna hurt some feelings in that car. How's it drive?

Drives way better! Feels more responsive and snappy, idles much lower and smoother and I'm getting the fuel economy I should now.

Got new tires

Nitto NT05s very impressed with them!

Gonna be re-working my CAI so the filter is behind the bumper.

Then paddle shifters. I've been looking at racelogic TC too... Not sure it's worth it yet.

I've got those same tires, got awesome grip in the dryway better than the nt555, but will scare the crap out of you on the interstate when its raining, those are some hydroplane happy tires, dont know if width of the tire affects hydroplaning or just tread design, I'm using a 315/35/17

Width plays a big role, but mostly tread design. These are my summer wheels anyway, I'll run michilien A/S' or conti dws for winter.

I run 275/35/18. Been thinking about pulling my fenders to fit 305's...

So, during the efforts to get the lip of my fenders perfectly flat, the paint cracked. So now we have this

And here's a couple shots of my dad and I's on going project (67 camaro)

hey josh
everything looks and sounds good. super smooth can't even hear the thing shift. what were the issues, if any, after the first start and drive down the road. i know it was a new engine and trans but seemed to transform. just needed to be run in?

The ECU needed to adapt to the engine and trans, at first it died a lot and ran rough. The trans was pretty easy, the only problems I've had is a poly mount and getting all the settings how I like them.

Other than that, it's been running perfect after the tune.

Wow, update needed!
Car has been running great! Remote mounted my IATS and now I'm not down on power in hot weather.
Got the tach working, simple programming fix. Don't even need a pull up circuit.
Installed paddle shifters

Wow! What a whole new car! Feels much faster, I can now shift at peak power instead of the pre-set max shift RPM in the TCU.

Also have a track date set for the 21st of this month.

Think that's about it....

Fantastic! Car was keeping up with a GTR and Porsches. Transmission gave out about 3 days after, sent it in and they warrantied everything. The front pump gave out, they said it got hot.

So now everything is back and I'm installing a 16 row mocal cooler to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Also building two sets of headers I sold to guys for this swap.

Had this made too.

It's a beauty cover for the radiator.

Yah, the whole circuit, not just drags. Lol
I had an instructor in the car with me, learned a lot. Can't wait to do it again next season.
