On The Tree
Here's a couple pics of them polished.
Also, I'm getting ready to wire up my neutral safety and have a question. One, what switch do you guys use? A regular GM switch won't work, I tried.
And two, the start wire from my ignition is a switched ground wire, how do I go about wiring it?
Thanks

It may not matter, but if my welding skills were that badass, I'd get back under the car and fully weld those transmission mount brackets in. Is the 6x 4L80E heavier than the BMW tranny?

The 6x is heavier than the stock trans, but the engine feels lighter than stock. So it may balance out. Didn't get before or after weights

Finally finished up some other projects and got some time to work on the car today.
This is only tacked on, I used my 110 TIG welder, spent 20 minutes preheating it, just to get a decent tack.

Thanks.
No production plan yet. All the places I've emailed either aren't interested or want a minimum order of 10+ sets. So right now they'll stay hand made.
I just finished up a second set yesterday and dropped them off to be coated black.

So it's been below freezing here for the last week or so and I've noticed my fans are on constantly, they never shut off. The first day I noticed it, it warmed up to 40* later in the day and they didn't turn on until the set temp, 210*. But as of lately they're on and do t shut off until I turn the car off. I can read engine temp just fine through the OBD port.
Any ideas? Bad temp sensor?

Fan issue was just a relay.
Was having a fluid and filter change done as the 500 mile service recommended by TCI, ordered filter and fluid directly from them... They sent me the wrong filter, I emailed customer service and he said I had the correct filter part number, I sent them pics of the obviously incorrect filter, then he contradicted himself and said that was the wrong part number. They're not even sure what goes in their own transmission. Lol
I'm kinda curious if that's what happened last time and caused the trans to go out the first time

Mentioned before, the lines running into the bottom of the cooler will trap air in it. Feeding lines in and out the top or even on it side will allow all air to bleed out.

Doesn't matter now anyway, the new cooler is top fed and has 2.5 time the cooling capacity. Lol
