Well doing some research the 4.8 makes all its power at high rpm's, so the bigger turbos should keep my the driving like normal at lower rpm's and a screemer at high rpm's.... right? Gonna have to change the rear gears too.

There are several pictures in the thread, I bought an Earl's 3/8" compression to -6AN fitting and tightened it down on the inlet side of the rail. Then I took the torx bolt and retainer off where the 2 lines go into the rail, then the torx bolt on the return and removed it. Then took a 5/16" bolt and cut the treads and head off it to the same lenth as the part of the return that fits into the rail and dopped it in the hole and put the retainer back on. That was the extent of it. very simple and works perfect.

I got a whole bunch of stuff done today. This morning I got the waterpump on first.
Then I hid the heater hoses in the fender so they wouldn't be in the way of the turbo on that side.
Got the LS1 intake on and the injector connectors changed at lunch. I'm using the stock LS1 injectors that I got with the intake. It will make the swap to the 80# injectors so much easier.
Last week I fabbed a catch can out of a peice of exhaust pipe and some sheet metal and extra -AN fittings. I found the ball valve in a bucket of fittings a guy I work with gave me.
So since the LS1 intake and the truck TB have different vent locations, I had to fill part of the intake where the TB bolts to to keep a vaccuum leak from causing trouble. That is the reason for the catch can. I hooked it to the breather vent on the right valve cover. was very neat and I like the way it looks.
The next step is to install the turbos!!!

UPDATE!!!! I worked all week, got the fuel system done and got temporary exhaust hooked up till I do turbos. Finally started the engine in the car, ROD KNOCK. So upset. I called the company I bought the motor from and talked to them and they said it's probably carbon in the engine from sitting. Never heard of carbon buildup from sitting. They did say if I spray some decarb in it and the knock doesn't stop they will send me another engine. What next. I cut the manifolds and welded V-band clamps to them. When I put them in the car the left one was too close to the frame so I had to cut it back off and rewels at a different angle. On a brighter note, the engine does start and idle very nice. The check engine light is on and haven't had time to check it.

Yes I plumbed the return into the other side of the sump. My thought when I did( don't know if it was the right thing to do, but I have no problems as of yet) the routing was that the sump would never be out of fuel. Also on a factory in tank pump the return line squirts the fuel right into the cup the pump sits in. I don't remember how much the filter cost me as I bought it about 3 years ago when I did the sump and electric pump for the carbed BBC. It came from Summit though. It is a little big for the setup I'm running now. The speed shop down the street from work has some that are much smaller and I've seen them on Ebay.
