Ford (Mercury)Capri LS1 install
Hello, recently discovered this website and it is far better than anything available here in England! I`ve almost finished mounting an LS1 into my Capri and have a few questions which probably seem basic to all of you. Our emissions regulations are very relaxed compared to yours(no visible smoke, hydrocarbons<1200ppm, CO2<4%, no visual checks)and I intend to run without EGR and air pump(exactly what does that do!?). Do I physically disconnect them or electronically turn them off via LS1 edit or computer reflash.

Post some pics of the install, if you have them. I'd love to see it!

Instead of using the quick reply box, click the "Go Advanced" button or click the blue "reply" button under a post. Then type your message as usual, but before clicking the "Submit Reply" button, look a little bit farther down the page for the "Manage Attachments" button. Click that, and it'll let you add an attachment (picture) to the post.
