5.3 Carb questions

5.3 Carb questions i'm looking at purchasing a 5.3 and am wondering if i do a carb setup if i will need the ecu and computer as well or i could just get the MSD6010 ignition and use that to run it? trying to avoid spending money on parts i won;t be needing. thank you

i believe it came from an 04-05 silverado. believe that would be the 6010 if im not mistaken. so that ignition will contain all of the harness components that will be needed to wire it up? thanks for any help as im going to check the engine out tomorrow
