Well I thought I would post some pics of my new beater. It is an all original anniversary gold 62 vert. It has fbody brakes front and rear,air ride,and 12 bolt posi,and the new ET replica wheels. Getting ready to install a 06 gto motor and trans. I have always wanted an old vert and this one fits my style perfect. I will add pics as we go. Plans are to have done by the time the grass in green.

I paid a pretty penny for all those dents,and dings I will be damned if I am goin to cover them with some shiney paint. They are only original once. Plans are to take it on power tour this year.

I purchased a tremec 5 spd for it and have been looking for a ls3 or ls7 pullout. Going to leave it all together till I have all parts rounded up. Next up is my 66 nova wagon all original car. I have a grand national drivetrain waiting to be installed. Then maybe the Malibu.

I registered just to follow along. I have a 60 Biscayne I'm thinking of doing this conversion on, so I'm sure there will be a lot I can use.

Did you buy the GTO engine for this project, or do you know the modifications you'll have to do to the accessories and oil pan?
