Default Quick help with quick budget efi fuel delivery...

First off I will be eventually going with a better setup like a Rick'/VaporWorx...

I need get it running now on the cheap due to funds and the fact I need it to drive by mid March...

So...I have a LS3 returnless fuel rail and stock tank. Looking ~450rwhp for now so will MSD in-line support it? It says 500hp.

To make this happen I need sump, inline pump, corvette fuel filter/regualator, and fittings?

I would look into switching those fittings out for the new versions that thread on with the open nut end.

Please help me do this cheap and easy. I will upgrade down the road.

Maybe I should go Walbro for pump? MSD unit only has barbed ends where the Walbro uses 10mm x 1.0 female ends...

That combo may be ok. However, the MSD rating is most likely stated as FWHP, not at the wheels. With a conservative drive line loss of only 15%, you are out of pump B4 450RW.
Calculating fuel system requirements are best done using FWHP...

I am looking into this too. Do most of you guys run rubber hose with clamps between the pump and sump and for the return line? or do most of you run braided line for the entire system with the non cheap an fittings that come apart and screw down on the hose? I see that msd pump you aren't going to be able to run anything but clamping the hose down on the barbed ends. What can you do with a walbro pump that u can't with the msd with the 10mm ends?

You can buy 25ft of 1/2 fuel line for 26 bucks. Pipe not braided.

So I like the idea of nylon for now but...

At fuel rail I use the Dorman 3/8" connector and nylon to the filter/regulator but what connector would I use there? It needs a male end and I don't see a fitting for the nylon that works.

I ran a sump on the bottom of a truck build I did back in the late 90's. It worked great, however I was told that it was illegal for street use, so I pulled the tank and went fuel cell. Something to research, for sure.

You can get a male to male Dorman quick disconnect for about $5. Use that at the filter.
