Less weight and lower in the car.

I can use it with any engine.

Gets rid of the stock style hoses.

Pull the timing cover without touching the water.

Thank you i see what you did now. How did you plumb your steam vent? tap the moroso fitting?

Very nice setup gray86. That bmr doesn't say it will work on a 5.3 block though. Now I planned on going from the upper hose into a proform sbc standard electric pump mounted remotely then from the the two outlets into the top holes of moroso plates, out the bottom holes into the moroso remote t stat housing, then back to the lower radiator. Sound like a working setup? I don't care to run all an lines as im on a tight budget, I just want the space for my turbo.

You have to drill out a boss in the block for it to bolt on. Lots of guys do it not a bid deal.

What about the y-body balancer? Does BMR or anyone else make the a/c or alternator mounts and tensioners when you remove the water pump?

There are a lot of people with LS motors that need low mount accessory drives, but have the closer y body balancers.
