Yeah no od is def causing it. I drove my buddys 69 camaro with an ls1/t56 supercharged the other day all i can say is damn it was nice smooth shifting and runs like a raped ape. Still trying to talk the boss into a t56, but she still not hearing it at the moment.

You likely have something wrong to have 10.5mpg and weak on the power side.

Could you run it for 10 sec and touch each of the header tubes to see if they are all about the same temp.

I have been chasing down minor issues on mine as well that were pulling down the power and drivability a little bit. Recently found a plug wire that was mostly burned through hidden under the heat protection that I hope was causing most of the intermittent problems.

Now I just have to retune it to get fueling correct with the changes.

Running running on 7 cyl, with a leak around my fuel level sender that I just fixed, 3k stall, and tuned to what turned out to be 13:1 AFR I was staying around that 10.5mpg mark the last 200 miles.

Guess i could run it and hit the header tubes with my temp gun. The power could be all in my head to. I was just expecting her to light them up by just punching it. It does it well with adding a lil brake to her. I do have a few plug wires laying on the headers. Guess i need to make up some custom wires. The thing is not tuned either its just got a tune in it to get me up and running.

I would think it would run fine on the stock tune. Mine does! I think I get pretty good MPG considering no OD and 4.10s.

What kind of mpgs are you getting? I should prolly just run the hole tank from full to empty and then fill her up again then recalculate again. I filled her up this last time logged miles with gps put bout 80 miles on tank then refilled it and got 10.5

On a better note got the fans all installed used aluminum L channel bolted to the bottom of the rad support and then drilled few holes in the fans on the top and bolted it to the radiator cover, seems to be very stable hopefully it works well too.
Nice build! Which Tanks Inc pump did you go with? Im thinking of putting one in my 69 chevelle Ls1 swap not shure with one to go with tho.

Update: Went on a nice long cruise this week to the Ocean city Md Crusin 2012. The trip was 70 miles each way. Car ran awesome no issues at all, would say i got 500+ miles on the build. Also met up with Don (99vettefrc) very cool guy and got to check out his chevelle with the ls swap. Guess my next move will be a t56.

She's still running great, been hitting up alot of shows lately. I did pick up a t56 to put behind the 6.0. Plan on making a lil video before i take it off the road for the winter to install the dash,t56,complete car wiring harness and a new steering column.
