Remember that the PCM provides power to the low current side of the relay, you would provide ground to the other side.

On my LS1 swap the fuel pump has a seperate ground at the pump itself. Your harness also has several grounds that need to be connected to bare metal. My engine is grounded to the firewall on both heads, the body is then grounded to the frame and the engine is also grounded to the frame. These grounds are all 4 gauge wire. Good ground points are essential!
Your fuel pump should turn on when the key is turned forward, are you sure the keyed hot is hooked up. It needs to provide constant power when the vehicle is cranking. I believe the crank sensor only comes into play when the engine is cranking, the pcm picks up the crank signal and tells the fuel pump to run??? But your fuel pump should turn on with just the key forward and not cranking. Possibly a bad relay or not wired correctly, have you tried running 12 volts directly to the pump to make sure the pump is good?
Hope this helps
