Default New fuel tank setup - 2010 camaro pickup

What ever happend with the new tank setup the guy was building to sell using the 2010 camaro type setup with no sump and a pickup in all four corners. Can't remember his name ,he was building a 66 chevyII tank or kit and was doing that tank first with plans to do camaro and chevelles next.Sounded like a good idea,I would like to try one in my chevyII.Anyone have any info on it?

Not sure of his screen name, but Bari Wrubel of www.retrofuel.com

I emailed him once, asking about the 3rd gen X-body, but it was last on his list to R and D it. Would be nice if he has them ready within the next 3-4 months. i could just one and willing to try it.

We have had great luck with the Tanks inc piece. The 2010 pump is computer regulated and sounds like too much work for a swap.

Hmmm, seem that one of them guys also had the same idea of how to build a sump.. I drew up the same plans, but have not gotten around to doing it..

I checked out his website.Looks like a very good idea although by the time you get everything you need, especially if you get some of the options you'll be close to the price of a ricks or rock valley tank. I would rather have it because of the oem look of the tank myself. After looking at all the options for this 66 chevyII project,I think I will try the tanks inc.in tank setup. It is priced fairly reasonible, uses a 255 walbro pump, and keeps the oem look while doing everything I need it to do.

Someone can get a car here or at the very least a tank we will build a custom intank setup like our F-Body GTO Mustang tanks. We have done several one off Chevelle Camaro tanks but no one has ever got us a Chevy II tank.

If you go for a custom tank go for a newer screw on cap otherwise you may end up with fuel spilling out of the fill tube with the intank pump. Ask me how I know.
