Arrow Has anyone looked at or used the SUR&R Nylon Fuel Line Kits?

I called and talk to the company and I'm interested in going this way.

Here is a link to look: http://www.fuelsender.com/fuel_line.html

I've read here that several folks have used the Dorman product line and salvaged factory lines off cars and trucks.

Anyway, just curious if anyone has used the product from S.U.R.& R. ?

SURR is right down the road from a shop I used to work for. Good stuff. I have their quick connects on my fuel lines.

The brake line kit is highly recommended as well.

Looks like a well put together kit and parts. Also, Dorman has many kits and parts to repair or create new OEM Nylon Fuel lines and connectors also.

I see the SUR&R product needs no special assembly tool to install the hoses.
I stopped by our local "Hose Makers" Shop and they are using this product and they tell me it's great.

You don`t need special tools for the dorman kit either. I can`t remember if it was here or in the fueling and injection forum but there is a write up on how to push the connectors into the hose with a caulk gun instead of the special tool.

Dip the end of the nylon lines in boiling water for a few minutes to soften them. Then they slide on by hand.

For those on this side of the border, here's what I used.Cheap, easy and as close as your nearest Canadian Tire, likely the same nylon lines and fittings as Dorman and others but repackaged...

I think we need a sticky on OEM style nylon fuel systems. I dont want to think how much I could have saved over my hardline/stainless braided setup.

I wrote these guys an email asking where we could buy it. The site doesn't appear to have an online store and I've never seen it carried anywhere.

Will let you guys know if I figure anything out!

Here the complete Kit #KP-1200 is $118.21 http://www.mechanicstoolsupply.com/K...0_p_17986.html
This place also lists the individual parts, so if you know what you need, you can just order those items.

This place is suppose to have Free Shipping and there price is $157.95

Now I found that a local hose shop (well, 20 miles drive one-way) had it and so I was able to just buy what I needed to do the job on my Wagon. I also bought a tough, thin-walled hose that I slid the nylon inside off for additional protection.

Automotive Tools Online has the Kit for $117.74
http://www.automotivetoolsonline.com...0_p_13229.html

Tool Source .com has the kit for $141.06

Advance Auto Parts has S.U.R.& R. Auto Parts listed as one of the manufactured that they sell. I cannot get the part number to come up, so a call to your local store may be in order. Don't forget that they have the 20% Off Promotions going on, as well as the $50.00 coupons.

I was looking around for the same kind of thing, but up here in Canada. I didn`t want to get the kit with the gun and all that but, I found myself here anyway. I found these guys with the kits and the individual quick connects and stuff.http://www.firstcallautosupply.com/fuel-line-hardware
Thought it might help someone who got here the same way I did.

I just bought their kp1200 kit on EBay for $165. I don't need half the fittings for my second gen Fbody swap. I still had to go to Napa for Forman connectors. Just buy some dorman line and fittings. Save yourself $100. What was sent is good quality though. No special tools neede.
