My buddy has painted with this paint before several times. Believe it or not good prep, good primer and home depot satin black rustoleum. He did an evo in it 4 years ago and it is holding up great!

Is that a stock length 8.8 or shortened? I really like how it sits with those Street lites on it.

Stock length. The ones in the photo above are just Jegs brand rims though. I do have a photo on here with the Billet Specialties with slicks on them though.

28/10.50 slicks on a 10" Billet Specialty rim and be prepared for some serious beating of the inner fenders and some rolling on the fenders.

Agreed. Weather permitting I will be waiting at the gates to the local drag strip Friday.

Well first real time out running it was less than I expected. BUT I was also unable to get the slicks on it and had to run with the Nitto 555 drag radials. First half was a joke...anything over half throttle resulted in spinning and a slip and slide. But at least I was able to get a decent mph. About 15 psi and 12* of timing on E85. No clue what it weighs yet.

Great first outing. I had very similar results with similar boost, timing and traction issues.

I think I shut down a little early too, haha. Was getting a little worried about the brakes being able to stop, but they did fine.

Yeah I am going to get a valve stem tool and try removing and replacing the center part and see if it will air up after that.

It was the valve stem core. Changed out the valve stem core and all is well. And I got a valve stem core tool and a couple spare cores in case it should ever happen again.
