^ First i've ever heard of that type a thing. Im no fan of vigilante justice but ANYONE who catches idiots messing with another guys race car should report it. It could kill someone, maybe even one of your buddies. Thats just plain nuts!
Racers are usually so solid with each other.

Well another track outing with more of the same. Overboosting and trying to go sideways mid track. I even had air pressure down to 11 psi in the mt 28/10.50s slicks. Leaving with not enough boost and then as soon as the boost came in blowing the tires off. I was finishing the 1/8 mile at 90 mph while the Speedo read 127, lol. So some serious wheel spin. Getting frustrated. Tried some new shock settings. Both rears at 6/10 on the rear. Did not seem to help.

Dialing in a car can be a real pita. Video footage from the side during launch can help indicate what suspension adjustments to make to help find the sweet spot. Try different tire pressures, keep a log and examine your slips carefully so you can see if your making gains. Do you have an ARB out back?

Could try adding some weight to the back of the car and see if traction improves. Does the nose come up? Tires plant downward? Any squat in the body?
Probably time to figure out a traction control strategy. Boost by speed or a timer of some sort seems to work well. Could try a simple 2 stage controller and get by pretty cheap.
Could also retard the timing a ton in the problem area.

If you can't leave on a lot of boost, you aren't going to be able to hit the tire hard enough to get the suspension to plant.
The track has to be excellent for the first 330 to keep these cars hooked up.
If it's spinning down track, past the 1/8, good luck.
Your track sounds like mine. Basically a waste of time.
Got a better track you can run? Maybe try your track on bracket night?
I had to resort to the 1/8 mile bracket night to prove my car actuslly still works.
Btw, these guys who run the low 8's are doing it on well prepped tracks.

Ah there were a couple big tire cars there in the mid to low 5s. I am wondering if I just need to leave on more boost or if I need to make some suspension geometry changes. I know it can be done with less than what I have suspensionb wise now. I just need to figure out how to do it.
