Yeah me too, but unfortunately an issue just arose with our septic system which may put it on hold for a few as far as any new parts being purchased. So close to firing it too!

And $1800 later things are on hold til my 66 F250 sells. My wife and my Christmass gift to each other will be the ability to use our toilet.

subscribing to see how those c6 manifolds work out for you. getting ready to start on a fox swap and looking to keep a/c and all acc's. in the stock location. Good luck with the rest of the build, should move out PDQ!!

I can tell you already with this AJE K member they will work fine. There will be a bend coming right off the collector, but it is a very slight bend...probably less than 45* and they are facing forward. I am not 100% that I will use them yet, I still want to test fit some of the other manifolds I have, but they look like they would work well. I would snap some pics, but it is hard to see down where the manifolds sit with my phone camera. I will do my best though.

See I went with the vette accessories and it puts the alternator in a high mount location. Plenty of clearance down low, so it is not even a concern. But it should also give me the room I need for an AC compressor.

Some progress. I got a good bit done on the driver's side today. Looks like the vette manifolds will work out just fine. Tig welding is improving, but still a long way to go.

I like it. It is not as fast as my mig, but it is more precise to me and for stainless. Or sensitive welds it is nice to be able to control the heat input and build up. It is just a cheap model Lotos that does not have AC for welding aluminum, but it works! I am still learning, but I enjoy it.

i might have to get me one of them tig welders one day but i think id get one that could do aluminum because that would come in handy for SO many applications. i dont understand all of those settings on them though lol too confusing

Little more progress. Should clear the AC compressor, if not I can always redo it later. But it looks to have decent clearence to everything except the kmember. It only has about 1/2" there....it might end up tapping it if the engine moves too much with poly bushings in the solid mounts.
