Your probably going to have a clearance issue with that steering box to the rad. On the box there is a small round bump that sticks out past the bigger surface of the bosy. I had to grind mine flush to make it 3/16 of a inch from the rad. But having that steering box sure made a huge difference in the way the car goes down the road.

Nice work man! I will be watching this one.. I am going to be building a 61 Bel Air 4 door here soon.
Did your new engine mounts space the engine out from the firewall?

I would like to see more pics and info on how your going to bag it as well. I will be bagging mine too.

tk thanks

i used the dirty dingo mounts that puts the motor in 3 different locations- stock, 3/4" forward,1.75" forward. i used the 3/4" forward holes on the adapter plates. if i can remember correctly its out from the firewall about 1". oh yea i will be posting more pics bout bagging when i get ready to do it. I decided on using accuair e-level air management system, probably gonna try and run the air line in the frame.

Can you share anymore info on the air bag brackets you posted earlier? Will they work with stock control arms?
Thanks
Trevor

http://www.bcfab.com/Rear-Airbag-Bra...ala_p_447.html
here is the link for the rear. these front and rear brackets are designed for the stock front and rear control arms. I talked with a guy named phil not sure if he is the owner but he told me the rear brackets will work with tubulular arms. He said he is gonna have to make the front lower brackets because of my tubular arms

here is the front brackets

haha i think that spark singed my beard but it didn't get the whole thing. i agree with eye protection, it is a must. you only have 2 eyes and you need them both to do this kind of work

Any updates? I got all my air ride from BC Fab, he gave me a good price. Thanks for the tip. You have an idea on where and how your going to put the level sensors on. Been searching for awhile to find pics and not finding any.

Thanks
Trevor
