Got a 2004 Buick Rainier all aluminum 5.3L LM4 (62K miles) and the 8th digit is P and the oil pan has the proper hole across it.

Plan to put it in a A body car.

The oil dip stick goes directly into the engine oil pan, there is NO oil dip stick hole in the block..!

Plan to use GM muscle car oil pan kit.

What are the dip stick options?

You can fit any truck dipstick which will vary the length and position of the the pullout

 

I will check where the muscle car pan dipstick is located exactly bc that's the pan I have plus I have a dipstick for an 08 suburban

The kit should come with a dipstick. But it goes in the block IIR for that pan. There should be the hole in the block with a plug in it. Just knock plug out and run the reg truck dipstick. If it doesn't have the plug, just drill flange in block for it.

Same issue with the LM4 in my '98 Sonoma. I change oil and filter every 3,000 miles and consider it a non-issue unless I start burning oil badly or develop a major oil leak.

Yeah some blocks weren't drilled. You can drill it out just as easy.
