got some more time on the car today,

started by pulling the dash out and the heater core and all that nonsense since the car wont have any of that.

ended up with this.

after a little bit of sorting and cutting

the previous owner wired everything up very sh!ttlily so removing everything i dont need and cleaning it up this go around lol

and peiced the last of the hard parts of the engine bay left i had to do aswell. rails on and hooked up alternator is bolted down. steering column hooked up and the driveline is on.

just needs some wiring and she'll run this week!

Another gauge question for you. Do you still have an odometer? If so I imagine its built into the speedometer gauge?

c5 vette.

on another note, got the harness done today. now have fuel and spark. but cant get the car to fire. went in and turned vats off. swapped car to manual. bumped the idle up and wrote all those changes in hp tuners. then went back in after and adjusted the injector sizes to 60 lbs and wrote that change. now after that when ever i go in to write any changes i get a fail error. so kind of stuck till i figure whats up with the hp tuners.

I'd love to do a 240 this bodystyle. My mom had a 96 Concord Grey that she totaled 2 weeks after I got my license(was raining like a **** and she hydroplaned). Hers was a hydroplane queen, I can't count how many times I felt it start to hydroplane in the rain. That car was a hoot to drive with the 4 banger in it. I almost bought a 97 in pensacola, fl that had a LS6/T56, that thing was an absolute riot to drive, we couldn't meet on a price unfortunately. Good luck man.

Ran into some clearence issues and belt some valves and messed up the stock pistons. My Machinist took a little to much off and I didn't double check. So block is back out and stripped and its getting a 383 stroker now with some 11: 1 pistons. Should make an easy 500 na when all back together ;D, on the hunt for some good 243 heads to get cnc'd out with some bigger valves and a fast 102 and 102 tb to go with it
