Ok, the next phase of the engine modifications got started today. I placed an order with Cam Motion for the LLSR cmshaft. Specifications are 246/252 @ .050" with .673"/.655" on the lift. LSA is 115 +3. Actual lift will be just under .650" at the valve with all the losses.
Going with the T&D 1.7" rocker arms and the Morel 4737 solid roller lifters. The 4737 uses the factory lifter trays which I will order in some new ones to replace the old ones. I do not want to take any chances in that area.
Next up will be the Vararam X-Ram intake manifold when it becomes available. By the way Speedtigger gained 33rwhp changing from his Cam Motion hydraulic camshaft to the Cam Motion LLSR. I would be tickled to death if I gained 30 rwhp with the new LLSR camshaft. Now if I could gain another 20+RWHP with Vararam X-Ram intake manifold that would be awesome.
Edit: The current hydraulic camshaft is a Cam Motion 238/242 with .629"/.629" lift on a LSA of 114 +3.

$10K? Hahahaha, I would say a lot less than that. Guys, my friend Pat has purchased a Cadillac CTSV and it does not take much at all to make a 10 second car out of it. I can see us making a trip to the track later this year for bragging rights.

Glad to see another LLSR here. Who is doing the install? CMS?

CMS will do the tune. A shop in Long Beach, Ca will do the install. He does a lot of racing and engine building and is very, very familiar with the solid roller set ups.
I am hopeful Vararam will come out with their intake. I will also have CMS do the tune with the Vararam installed and we can get a measurement from both upgrades to see how much power we get from each. At least that is the plan.

If I remember right we had to weld on a piece of metal to the bracket in order to match the bolt holes for the transmission oil pan. We extended the bracket. I forget the size of the transmission pan bolts but maybe 6mm x ? I had to get longer bolts in order to use the two bolt spacers.

thanks.. im using the ls3/6l80 with a harness from psi . they said if i use a shifter from a G6 i can bypass the bcm.. so i can tap shift.. and hopefully i can wire up to the oem nissan paddle shifters

You will need to talk so someone in the know. The ECM and TCM need to be compatible so that they can communicate with one another. Also that the ECM matches the components on the engine. John at Speartech is a good source and maybe Texas Speed, I don't know. How about the engine harness? What is the story on it if you already have one? Good thing you are finding this all out now before you get to far down the line.

That is quite a build you have there. Very nice. In case the transmission does not shift properly you will know what to do. I think 3rd gear and reverse are default gears or "fail safe mode".
