It will take a little time, but you can upload all of the photos in this thread directly to the forum...for free.

Caleb, Awesome jhob getting this done - looks much easier than a tread I watched on youtube of a guy cutting out the floor of a square and fitting it onto a 2007 frame. Couple questions - do you now have anti lock brakes with the swap? I have a 2002 Escalade AWD 6.0 frame donor and wanted to do exactly what you have done but I am swapping ona a 1973 crew cab. I was excited to see you actually cut the frame - did you do this for sizing, or to mount the newer frame to an older rear? Super interested in moving my project into the fall winter and coming out next early spring with a finished running unit. How long was your process start to finish?

thanks man. Yeah I’ve seen people swap the whole floorboards and it doesn’t make sense to me. So much work. The abs module was there but I never wired it up. Wouldn’t take much. It got bypassed later when I replaced rusty brake lines. I had to shorten the frame because I used an extended cab frame for a regular cab. You’ll probably have to extend yours for a crew cab. Not sure. I did the whole thing in a few months. It still gets driven a lot. Got 40k on it now but the body is about rotted out. I started a new one but haven’t got any farther than mounting the body

Rear cab mount

Core support

73 20k mile cab. 75 longbed stepside. 79 front clip. 05 frame 4.8/nv3500 4x4

It's a shame more people don't email subscribe to their own threads.
