Great build, my friend! Are you sure you are not going to be tempted to lower it and swap the hubcaps for wide steelies?

They adjusted the EPC valve. Basically adjusted line pressure manually.

This truck is so awesome. I need to take the time and slide over to KC and check it out sometime.

Well, at least for a while I'm keeping the full wheel covers and white walls, but I do have a set of 15x8 steelies and dog dish hubcaps that I may put some 275/60's on a little later.

That sounds right, he said something about adjusting the line pressure.. Let me know if you ever get down this way.

Fantastic job. Well done. I wish we had these old trucks just laying around for the prices you pay.

Looks great. Exactly what I'm planning for my ramcharger, reliable lsx power, ac and towing ability.

Your prices for the things you pickup at the pick-n-pull are listed most of the time.
I am just curious?
I just went back through and added everything up and I'm at about $2800. I'm sure there are some things I forgot to post prices on, but when you subtract the $600 I sold the old engine and trans for, it should just about even out I would think.

I've put almost 900 miles on it since finishing it and couldn't be happier with it.

So now it's time to start thinking about what project will be next. I've had this Nova for almost 12 years and have done nothing to it. It's a 58k original mile car, and I kind of hate to tear it apart, but it would be real fun with a 6.0 or 6.2 and a 6 speed.......

I'm not saying I definitely will do it, but seriously considering it. I mean, what's better than an LS swapped Nova? Oh yeah, 2 LS swapped Novas!

You're addicted! (just saying...)

I was looking for a beater truck to do a swap on and ran across a 2000 with a 5.3 and a dead 4L60E transmission that was too cheap to pass on. It was especially too cheap when I have a 6.0, 4L80E and harness in my workshop for my Impala that I wasn't going to use that transmission in. Swap the harness and 4L60E in the truck for the 4L80E gives me a good truck. Rebuild the 4L60E and toss it in the Impala until I can find a T-56.

What a read! Just went through the whole build and I loved the blue truck. This is fantastic. I'm a huge fan of these trucks with these motors in them, and the way you make them look like it came from the dealership that way is amazing.

Now... slam it and throw some 15x8 rallyes on it?
