Black plugs OMG!!!! Ok I started taking my harness off to have it reworked. So I looked at my plugs and they are black. Should i be alarmed, because I didn't want to go in the engine for a while.

So assuming we don't know how many miles, put new ones in and check them after you put a few hundred miles on them. This is assuming the engine has good performance and isn't making any strange noises.

Providing it is still running... get a scanner on it and monitor the Fuel Trim's, O2 Voltages, etc.. check for any old DTC codes, Check the resistance on the Injectors (see if they are on avg the same).
Hope it works out and you don't have to go into the engine for a rebuild.. maybe do a Leak down test.. leaking valve seals or worn rings.
