Source for engines in Wash DC area?
for me thats a hike, but the few times i've gone, they had **** tons of ls-truck engines in their storage. they know they're popular so they don't leave them in the open
Put a motor in the girlfriends Explorer last year when it seized up. When I picked the replacement up from them I was sent to a warehouse a couple miles away. When the guy opened the door there were motors from one end of the building to the other, and they had a copuple dozen 5.3s 6.0s and even an immaculate ls2 from a gto. They were all pulled without butchering parts like the yard I think you are talking about... (Brandywine?)

Brandywine and Andrews auto parts wont do a clean pull with the extras parts needed for a swap.
I would love to have an engine pulled with the original trans, catalytic converters, ECM, wire harness, all hoses, etc.
I think a donor truck would suit me best, I will keep looking around.
