The stock shifter is very sloppy so time for upgrade. Finally got around to reworking the shifter today. Waiting on a few other parts. Purchased the B&M quicksilver several months ago. Trying to keep the stock boot and console with out to much modifications. May cut the tunnel some for the cable to feed straight into the attaching point.

Yeah I live in Oldham County. That's me on the CF LOL. I'll definitely get with you when I get this rolling. I drive a pretty rowdy EB 02 Z06 also if you see me out and about.

After carefully measuring today, looks like I am going to fab a bracket and drop the B&M shifter a couple of inches so it clears the console.
Another while I am there. Removed 6 of the 8 body mount bolts. Just have the last 2 in the rear and need to reconstruct the rear mounts. The metal mounts are rusted out and the fiberglass housing will need some work to be able to support the mount. Only had one bolt so far that required the cheater bar. PB blaster on the bolts for a couple of days and will tackle the rear.

Got the Shifter mounted and everything on top looks good. Need to make a couple more brackets stiffen the side movement and cut a notch for the shifter cable. The last 2 body mounts are out, will have to reconstruct one of the rear body mounts with fiberglass and new supports.

Working getting the rest of the body mounts replaced. All but 2 of the 8 wear recognizable.
Have the body jacked up a couple of inches and will get the fuel line and fuel pump mounted . Will post a few more pictures when I get to that area of the restro.

Default Fuel Delivery ?

Going to start working on the fuel system since I have the body raised on the passenger side to replace the body mounts. I bought the Dorman tubing set with 3/8 and 5 1/6 line. I am using the LS 6 manifold which doesn't have a return line. I have the Walbro Pump GSL 392 that came with my Holley EFI. Is this pump adequate? Should I use the Combo Fuel Filter regulator to return the fuel to tank? Should I use part of the old steel fuel line that runs along the frame rail?

I used an external Warlboro 255 with a C5 filter regulator for my swap. I have a regular fuel filter in place before the pump as sort of a "pre" filter...

Did you hook up to the old fuel lines at the top of your fuel tank to install this set up? Did this fit with the spare tub in place?. I am going to start this part of the restro next.

Looks like that pump would be borderline as max pressure is 60psi

You need ~58psi. The 255 used by Q would be a better idea.
I used a factory Delphi (in tank) pump in my 74.

I ordered the Holley 12-920 and the Wix 33737 In-Line Fuel Filter.
Duh on my part. Turns the Holley 12-920 is the same part as the GSL 392. Contacted Holley and they recommended this pump for my set up.

I hooked into the top of the tank like you said, but upgraded to fuel injection tubing. I think I used rubber tubing from the tank to the prefilter and for the lines in between the filter, pump, and regulator, and then from the reg back to the tank (return)...the line coming off the regulator to the fuel rails is braided stainless fuel injection line with the new Russell fittings.

Did you have to drop the tank to perform this upgrade? I purchased the dorman kit so I am replacing all the line up to the engine bay.

Yes, but it's really easy. I also removed the spare tire and holder at that time, and detailed the entire area. It looks really nice under there now. Plus you can see if your tank sticker is still in place if you drop it...

I did not. Better have your AAA paid up if you go this route.

Default Fuel Filter Regulator?

Planning to use the 82 vette FI unit. Remove the filler door and gas bib and then undo the hoses, remove the connector and bolts and pull the old fuel sending unit out. Then install a high flow in tank fuel pump 255 lph and a corvette regulator/filter combo so I can run a single fuel line up front and the return back to the tank. The 82 sender has a return hookup so that's not a problem. I can install all this and service without dropping the tank.
Serviceable like factory and no leaking or modifying the tank. I can then have my spare tire in place which is actually the not designed in safety in case of rear collision.
Is this the correct routing of the Wix 33733? Is the Dorman 800-159 correct for input from tank?
Got the front end suspension and steering installed today. Jeep box is in place.
Waiting on cam and will put engine back together next week.

Made some progress on the vette over the weekend. Front end is together with jeep box. Transmission is mounted and shifter cable routed. Fuel pump is mounted in tank and tested, new Dorman nylon fuel line routed.

Your going to want to run some kind of internal baffle if your running through the pre existing lines dropping into the tank. You dont want to suck air if you get to a quarter tank and hit a turn. The best thing you can do is add a sump to the bottom of your tank and have your feed coming off that. This way your fuel will fall into the sump and not be able to come out, you will never draw air this way unless you run the tank completely empty. I did this to my tank, a bit more work, but well worth it for not having to reco something down the road.
I even had problems when I was lower on the fuel level when I was running the carbed 350. LS fuel systems move a lot of fuel.
