LS3 Chevelle thread - Oz Style
Hi everyone,
Long time lurker and massive fan of the forum. Decided I should bite the bullet and post where I'm at with my 72 Chevelle.
Was my daily driver for 4 years, parked on the street and I rode it like a Tijuana donkey. 350/350 combo and big pipes - leaked like an absolute bastard but loved it. It got a bit tired so thought I would change it out.
Bad video quality below but it sounds like it drove - angry.
Here are the before pics - looks nice but living outside meant rust in rear window, parcel shelf, foot wells and A pillars and the tranny finally let go after one or two too many burnouts.....

Hope I'm better at building cars than starting a thread. Any tips on how to upload more than one image at a time? Only seems to want to attach one photo per post from my iPad.
Am assuming operator error - should see me with a cut off wheel!
This could get very annoying....

The tunnel needed some love.
For the detail freaks, ended up using a combo of parts to install.
BRP gearbox crossmember plus Holley Muscle car pan and mounts. Still contemplating revised crossmember to tuck up exhaust higher.
Anyone try this one?

Before anyone asks - not going to fab my own. Worst welder in the world - and that includes if Stevie Wonder was to go up against me.

nice build and sweet ride... Click the Manage Attachments tab and it lets you load multiple images, maybe not on an iphone. Try it from laptop/desktop computer. Keep the pics flowing, we love car ****
