Shortest Oil pan options.
1. Around a 5-6" height.
2. I do not want to use a filter relocation.
3. Would like to use a kit rather than piece everything together.
Does anyone have any suggestions that would be better than the holley.

Total=594 + tax. Is there someone that offers it cheaper?
Does your truck have the factory frame in front, or is it from a later-model something or other? My father-in-law put a Pinto front end in his 41 Suburban, I think.
But I, for one, can verify the LS1/LS6 batwing pan works pretty damned well in my application. Direct drop in on 2nd Gen F-Body, with no frame or pan mods, except to tap a new oil drain (yellow arrow). Very good ground clearance too:

I really think the c6 style pan is best for me. For the life of me I can not put all the parts together cheaper than 450 that route though. And the Holley pan is 400 + 30 for dipstick and tube.

I bought one for $100, pan, pickup tube on ebay. A friend here just bought one locally for $125. Saw a complete takeoff on ebay asking $140 a few weeks back, didn't sell.
Just looked on ebay, 3 there now asking $99, 169, 179, no bids. Be sure to get the pickup tube with it, or discounted without it. I think the pickup is about $50 from the dealer.

FYI the gasket comes on the pan.
Improved racing got everything for around 430. I've looked at every online gm distributor I could find and not one was cheaper..
No its still the same cost. I'm lucky my neighbor is the local parts manager so I get every part at employee cost.... has helped a lot with all the **** I work on.
