If you stick with it then I'm sure you won't have any problems making a living building these things. Especially with all the attention you have already gotten in just a few days.

I'm interested in the v4 engine. There are so many platforms this could be used on...... paired with the right turbo it would be awesome!

hi

dig the V-4; how much will it weigh all dressed?

With all that power, what are you planning to use for the diff on the Z?
I'm surprised it can handle the Toyota power but the torque from the V12 will surely shred it.

Cool work, and trick welding process.
But using a 78MM TB???
Using a crank that is has 90 degree offsets for a V12, does that mean 2 cyl fire at the same time?
Can the oil pump and oil galaries flow enough oil for the extra crank journals and the 8 lifters?
I can see detonation happening in the last 2 cylinders due to cooling problems as the stock pump can't flow enough l/min.
A V16 seems technically better no?

I didn't see it mentioned anywhere, but what is the compression ratio ?

Also, just curious what injectors you're using in it.

Amazing work, by the way.

We are shooting for 8:1
We haven't ordered pistons yet so that number is subject to change.

Haven't gotten far enough for injector choices yet

Why 8:1? That seems unnecessarily low when the stock LS1 came with 10:1 (which works perfectly fine). Are you planning to boost it?

In post number one he said that he was using a Littelfield 14-71 blower.

Yes to boost.

Opps, my mistake. I forgot he had put up the picture of the 14-71 (it's been a while since I read through the entire thread).
