Easy part upgrading some vital parts in trans
Quick run down I got ls1 upgrade kit and beast sunshell from PBA aka probuilt have dual cage sprag also unsure if they upgraded it or not
trans only had 5000 miles since stock rebuilt and as expected no surprises internals look amazing , finish up trans tommorrow

The apartment complex I lived in in Louisiana told me they could kick me out for simply changing the brakes on my car... Glad you have a good complex that doesn't mind this too much.

props man, doing the swap alone is difficult. even harder with a woman AND an apartment! haha

but youre doing it right, setup looks clean. love the paint matching throughout.

Thanks bro lol yea the apt mangers are unorganized and don't really care about much

yea the wife tells me at times when I'm lazy to work on the car lol I guess I luck out with a cool wife she even buys me parts lol

Im trying to do it right and hit all the weak points in my setup so its took longer than usual but I rather do it right the 1st time and kinda gets overwhelming at times as im doing . everything myself no help and alot of hours but it should pay of i did alot at one time so kinda excited to see how she runs f

yeah apartment managers are hit or miss at times. and your wife seems pretty cool.

my wife is the same until she wants something and then comes the receipts from all my parts from the grave haha

Lol I feel you


Installed prothane motor mounts which took couple hours , but accomplised alot , check clearance for torque converter was about .187 so used one washer then bolted torque converter down



front ride looks decent should settle some abit


Could really use a nice wash and polish lol

That is very impressive work! I cry like a bitch at my house because my garage is a mess. Yet here you are doing this outside in a parking lot.

didnt have a chain and straps work really good actually allowed to tikd the entire engine in install engine and trans together , but I am tired did it myself

Had couple people say that but at the same time nobody seems to dislike the wheels I have

all honestly wanted something different than the norm. I dont like to follow when I get tired of these wheels I might go back too mesh style wheels maybe lol but I like them to my knowledge im only thirdgen woth these style wheels

Does it matter where the taps are located for prothane inserts for motor mounts I have both sides tabs are up is , I didn't have instructions but it seemed logical a the time

love this stuff- i had a buddy on the 944turbo boards prob ten years ago that did a full engine rebuild on his turbo in an apt parking lot- luckily he had a car port kind of thing. He carried the engine up to the second floor and rebuilt it in his kitchen! Powder coated a bunch of stuff in his oven, then carried it back down and installed it. He even did his first paint job in that same car port and it looked better than some of my work!
