Yeah no worries I didn't give up on it. And thanks for the compliments.

7GRANDGERNADE I sent you a PM

Beejis60 yeah I'm excited for the headlights too, I have some really nice projectors. To throw in there. And yeah the chassis paint was a really durable one. The guy said he coats 5th wheel trailers in it.

Hey man car looks great. Might want to flip ur brembos around. Bleed screws need to point up so that any trapped air rises up and out the bleeders. I went with the mazworx brackets for my cts calipers and I had to modify their brackets to fit. Yours look much better.

Where'd you find that mint fuel sending unit? Looks brand new....probably is lol.

Thanks man! And yeah I flipped the bleeders and crossover line, I just happened to take that picture before.

And that was just my stock one, I just threw the walbro 400lph pump on it.

Just finished reading through this.

Amazing job! It is easy to see the time and effort put into this. The car looks stunning, even without paint!

Did you drive the car before the swap? If so, KA, SR?

Cheers

Default Chase Bay harness is junk

If I don't mind me asking what issues did you have with the chase Bays harness? My project will soon to begin and I bought the harness first and I seem to have made a mistake going with chase bays as I keep reading people having issues... Thanks in advance

And as far as the chase bays harness goes nothing seemed to be wired correctly. The fuel pump wasn't kicking on, and none of the gauges worked on the cluster like they were supposed to. And the wires that kick the electric fans on also wasn't working. They really just need to redesign their whole harness.

By far the cleanest 240 swap I've seen so far. Nice work, and nice build.

I tried to resist but I have to ask, How much are you invested in this? The way you casually change brake kits, ditch harnesses ect. Man im building an LS2 FD RX-7, and one mess up like that puts me back, and behind, Im Jelly.

You're never gonna be on time; I've switched brake setups on my ls2/s13 three times now. Wish I had an FD to swap though. Would gladly ditch my pos for said sexyness.

Looks like a nicer version of the Mazworx kit. As I took from his posting though, it appears to be custom and made from aluminum.

Let's just say I have LOTS invested. I do sell my old stuff to recoupe some cash. The chase bays harness seemed to work on the engine just fine, it just didn't communicate anything over to the chassis as it should if that makes sense. Someone would be much better off with the race chassis sub harness and wire up the chassis side theirselves.

And the brake brackets just sold out over the weekend. The next batch will be in next week though. And the website is finally up, and a Facebook page that has frequent updates.

What are your plans to close off the area around the radiator so that the incoming air is forced through it instead of around it?

Have you driven the car any length yet? So much done it's more like a show car than a track car. Nice job man.

I'll be having sheet metal directing the air to the radiator from the bumper opening. I'm having that done after paint when my custom front bash bar is being done.

And I haven't had any length of a drive on it yet. I can't wait till it finally hits the street though!
